Notepad Printing FAQs

What sizes are available?

We offer a variety of common notepad sizes for you to pick from:

• 2.5” x 5”
• 4” x 6”
• 5.5” x 8.5”
• 8.5” x 11”

If the size you want is not listed, please send us a custom quote request. We would be more than happy to work with you on your uniquely sized notepad.

What paper stocks and weights are available?

Like our default letterheads and envelopes, our notepads use 70# Uncoated Text. This paper has a slightly thicker, more luxurious feel than typical office printer paper. Because it is uncoated, it is perfect for hand writing notes. To discuss creating notepads with a different paper stock, please send us a custom quote request.

Can personalized notepads be printed double-sided?

Yes! We can print double-sided notepad sheets.

What’s the minimum order quantity?

We do not have any set maximum or minimum quantities for notepads. Let us know what you need and we’ll find a way to make it work!

How many sheets can one notepad have?

Each notepad comes with either 25 or 50 sheets in it. Please submit a custom quote request to order notepads with a different number of sheets.

Can you print variable data?

Yes! We can use variable data to print addresses, names, and any other information you need on each notepad.

What is the difference between a notepad and a notebook?

Notebooks and journals have a more permanent binding that makes removing pages more challenging. Notebooks are great for notes that you want to keep for a long time and keep together.

Notepads are better for quick notes that you do not plan to save forever. Notepad pages are easily removable thanks to their flexible glue. They are perfect for on-the-go notes and quick ideas.

Can you print a full background color?

Yes! Each page is individually printed and trimmed so we can produce full background color. Please make sure you include 0.125” bleed on all edges of your design.

Can I have notepads created in a custom shape?

Unfortunately, we cannot create notepads in non-rectangular shapes. Consider adding rounded corners to make your notepads stand out.

Do you offer notepads with rounded corners?

Yes! Notepads that are 1/8” thick or less can have rounded corners.

Will my design show through on the other side?

Based on the thickness of the paper, dark colors may show through to the other side of each notebook sheet. Any colors that show through will be faint enough to not interfere with any writing or additional printing.

How are the notepads bound?

Our notepads are bound with a flexible adhesive along one end. This glue allows pages to be easily torn out of the notepad. It is similar to a perfect bound book with no cover.

Do the notepads come with covers?

By default, our notepads do not have covers. However, we can add covers if this is something you are interested in. Please submit a custom quote request to discuss options.
