What is cardstock?
Cardstock is the name for a category of paper that is thicker and more rigid than typical text or printer paper, but not as thick as cardboard. Cardstock is very flexible, while still being durable. This makes it a perfect choice for thin, lightweight signage and posters.
What is cardboard?
Cardboard is the name for paper that is very thick and sturdy. This term can sometimes refer to thick cardstock, but it is more commonly used for corrugated cardboard. Corrugated cardboard has a wavy layer of paper called fluting, sandwiched between two layers of paper called liners. This structure provides great strength and thickness. This makes it perfect for printed items that require rigidity and durability.
What are the max dimensions?
The maximum dimensions depend on the material you choose for your signage and the printer we use to produce your jobs. The maximum size we can print is 60 inches by roughly 100 feet. We cannot produce this size in all paper stocks. Please send us a message if you have questions about specific sizes and papers.
What format and resolution should my artwork be in?
Our preferred format is PDF. All images should be at least 300ppi. Please review our File Set-up Checklist to make sure your sign design is print-ready.
Can I print double-sided?
Yes! We can create small double-sided signs in full color or in black and white. Larger signs may not be able to be double-sided. Please submit a custom quote request to discuss options if you need a large double-sided sign.
Can my sign be any shape?
Custom-shaped signage is available depending on the substrate you choose. Please submit a custom quote request to discuss options.
