Rack Card Printing FAQs

What sizes are available?

We have a variety of default sizes ranging from 3x3 inches to 5x7 inches. Please check our rack card product page for a full list of default sizes. Please submit a custom quote request to inquire about custom shaped and sized rack cards.

What is the standard rack card size?

Standard rack cards are 4” x 9”. This size will fit in most standard holders and racks. Rack cards can also be used as long postcards.

What paper stocks and weights are available?

We offer a variety of materials for rack cards. Our most popular are:

• 100% PCW Uncoated Paper
  • Smooth, dull, and white surface
• 10% PCW Recycled Coated Paper
  • Smooth, sleek, and white surface
• 50% PCW Recycled Kraft Board
  • Textured, dull, and brown surface

Can I print double-sided rack cards?

Of course! Similar to our flat cards and brochures, you can choose to print on one or both sides with either full color or black ink only.

Can I add a coating or laminate to my rack cards?

If you choose a coated paper (like silk or gloss), we can add a soft touch coating. Soft touch coating creates a velvety texture and matte appearance.

We can also add a gloss laminate. We use the most eco-friendly gloss laminate available. It uses heat to seal itself to your paper product. Because of this, a small edge of laminate will be left around the outside of your product to ensure proper sealing.

When should I use perforation?

You can use perforation to create tear-off areas. Perforation uses lines of tiny holes to make tearing the paper along a designated line easy. This is perfect for creating tear-off coupons, contact information, and mail order forms.

Can I add drilled holes (or other additional elements) to my rack card ?

Of course! Drilled holes can be used to add rack cards into binders, or to use as door hangers. We offer a variety of additional finishing options, including drilled holes. If you have a unique idea for your rack cards, we’d love to produce them for you. Please send us a custom quote request explaining your ideas.

What is the minimum order quantity?

There are no minimum or maximum quantities. The price will go down per unit as you order more. Large orders may require more time and a custom quote.

Will I get a proof for my rack cards before production begins?

Yes! We will send you up to two free digital (soft) proofs before production begins. Extra soft proofs and physical hard proofs can be ordered for an extra cost. For more information about proofs, please review our Proofing Options page.
