Door Hanger Printing FAQs

What sizes are available?

Our default sizes are 4.25” x 11 and 4” x 9”. However, we can produce custom door hangers for you in any size, if you have a dieline. In this case, please submit a custom quote request.

What paper stocks are available?

For our door hangers, we use a 10% PCW Recycled Silk Coated Paper or our 100% PCW Uncoated Paper. Our silk coated paper is perfect for vibrant door hangers thanks to its smooth, sleek, and white surface. Our uncoated paper is another great, eco-friendly choice. If you would like to create door hangers on a different paper stock, please submit a custom quote request.

Can I print double-sided door hangers?

Of course! You can choose to print on one or both sides with either full color or black ink only.

Can I add a coating or laminate to my door hangers?

If you choose a coated paper (like silk or gloss), we can add a soft touch coating. Soft touch coating creates a velvety texture and matte appearance.

We can also add a gloss laminate. We use the most eco-friendly gloss laminate available. It uses heat to seal itself to your paper product. Because of this, a small edge of laminate will be left around the outside of your product to ensure proper sealing. This process may cause issues with perforation.

When should I use perforation?

You can use perforation to create tear-off areas. Perforation uses lines of tiny holes to make tearing the paper along a designated line easy. This is perfect for creating tear-off coupons, contact information, and mail order forms.

Can the position of the hole be moved?

If you have a dieline, the entire door hanger is completely customizable. You can choose where to put your door hanger’s hole.

Can I print door hangers with specific addresses?

Yes! As with our custom cards and direct mail, we can use variable data printing to add addresses to your door hangers. Please submit a custom quote to learn more about this.

What is the minimum and maximum order quantity?

There are no minimum or maximum quantities. The price will go down per unit as you order more. Large orders may require more time and a custom quote.

Will I get a proof of my door hangers before production begins?

Yes! We will send you up to two free digital (soft) proofs before production begins. Extra soft proofs and physical hard proofs can be ordered for an extra cost. For more information about proofs, please review our Proofing Options page.
