What sizes are available?

We offer four common brochure sizes (measured flat and unfolded) for you to choose from:

• 5.5” x 8.5”
• 8.5” x 11”
• 8.5” x 14”
• 11” x 17”

If the size you want is not listed, please send us a custom quote request. We would be more than happy to work with you on your uniquely sized brochure.

What paper stocks are available?

We offer a variety of materials for brochures. Our most popular are:

• 100% PCW Uncoated Paper
  • Smooth, dull, and white surface
• 10% PCW Recycled Coated Paper
  • Smooth, sleek, and white surface
• 50% PCW Recycled Kraft Board
  • Textured, dull, and brown surface

Can I print double-sided brochures?

Of course! You can choose to print one or both sides in full color or just black and white.

What coatings and laminates are available?

If you choose a coated paper (like silk or gloss), we can add a soft touch coating. Soft touch coating creates a velvety texture and matte appearance. Unfortunately, we cannot laminate folded products.

What kind of folding options are there?

We offer a wide range of folds for our brochures, including half-folds, trifolds, z-folds, accordion-folds, roll-folds, gate-folds, double parallel-folds, double gate-folds, and newsletter signature-folds. If your desired fold is not listed, please request a custom quote! We would love to work with you on your next folded project.

When should I use perforation?

You can use perforation to create tear-off areas. Perforation uses lines of tiny holes to make tearing the paper along a designated line easy. This is perfect for creating tear-off coupons, contact information, and mail order forms.

Can I add drilled holes (or other additional elements) to my brochure ?

Of course! Drilled holes can be used to add brochures and menus into binders. We offer a variety of additional finishing options, including drilled holes. If you have a unique idea for your brochures, we’d love to produce them for you. Please send us a custom quote request explaining your ideas.

What is the minimum and maximum order quantity?

There are no minimum or maximum quantities. The price will go down per unit as you order more. Large orders may require more time and a custom quote.

Will I get a proof for my brochures before printing starts?

Yes! We will send you up to two free digital (soft) proofs before production begins. Extra soft proofs and physical hard proofs can be ordered for an extra cost. For more information about proofs, please review our Proofing Options page.

Can you offer custom/complex folding?

Yes! We offer half-folds, trifolds, z-folds, accordion-folds, roll-folds, gate-folds, double parallel-folds, double gate-folds, and newsletter signature-folds. If you cannot find the particular fold you want on our list, please send us a custom quote request describing your idea.

What is a pocket brochure?

Pocket brochures are the same as our regular brochures but a bit smaller. Our most common pocket brochure size is 4” x 2.25”. Pocket brochures are perfect for compact marketing, guides, and instruction sheets.

What is the most common brochure option?

Our most common brochure size is 8.5” x 11” with half-folds and tri-folds. We offer many other sizes and folds in addition to this.

Why should panels be different sizes in brochures?

When designing brochures it is important to note that the panels should be slightly different sizes. This difference is normally extremely small (around 0.1 inches). The small difference allows the panels to lay flat when folded. Without the difference, flaps would get stuck in the folds, creating unaligned and misfolded brochures. Make sure you include these size differences in your brochure design.

What will be the finished size of my brochure?

The finished size of your brochure or pamphlet will depend on the folding style you choose and how large your flat design is. The table below lists some common folded sizes. If you would like to know the final folded size of your specific brochure, please reach out to our customer service team.
