From packaging sleeves and hang tags to booklets and cards, all products need bleed. There are many reasons why your bleeds may not be exported correctly, but one of the most common issues occurs during the exporting process. Luckily, it has an easy fix! This process assumes that you have correctly set up bleeds and are using Adobe software.
In the “Save Adobe PDF” pop-up window, click on the “Marks and Bleeds” tab shown on the left. At the bottom of this category, check that “Use Document Bleed Settings” is turned on. Although the values are grayed out, all bleed values should be set to 0.125 inches if your bleed is set up correctly.
